I have Amy's latest cd, I love it!! She is like nobody else! Which is very cool nowadays!!! I am not trying to gossip about her, but just want to wish her good health! I hope she continues to make new and different music, and hope to see her on tour someday!

NEW YORK - Amy Winehouse has put her North American tour on hold, raising more concerns about her health. "Due to the rigors involved in touring, Amy Winehouse has been advised to postpone her upcoming September U.S. and Canadian tour dates," the British singer's publicist, Tracy Miller, said in a statement Tuesday.

"Amy's European and U.K. tour dates in October and November remain in place. Plans are being made to reschedule her U.S. tour for early 2008. Until then, Amy has been ordered to rest and is working with medical professionals to address her health."

Last week, it was announced that the 23-year-old was canceling all her August performances due to "severe exhaustion." While British tabloids have claimed the retro-soul singer has been in rehab due to drug abuse, her spokeswoman has denied such claims.

Winehouse made her U.S. debut this year with the acclaimed album "Back to Black," but her celebrity has been fueled by her tabloid image as much as her talent. She's spoken openly about her past battles with drugs and her penchant for alcohol and marijuana, and her hit single "Rehab" is an autobiographical tale of her resistance to being pushed to go to rehab: "They tried to make me go to rehab, but I said no, no, no."

Winehouse was scheduled to appear at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 9 in Las Vegas, but it is unclear if she will be on hand for the event.

I have not heard much of her music but she certainly has a VIBE .. I love her style too!!

She was scheduled to be on Saturday Night Live this weekend, but it's postponed due to the writers strike, fooey.

Has anyone seen a picture of her she is white as a ghost !

It still remains to be seen whether multiple nominee Amy Winehouse will show up after she canceled her January 26 appearance at the NRJ Awards in Cannes, France in order to enter rehab. "Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors," read a statement from Universal Music Group. "She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards."


I hope she is getting help... she has such a bright future!

Ha Quinn!!! I say fooey every now and then! it works fo me! As far as Amy smoking crack...I would like to agree that as long as she is not hurting anyone, it's cool! But she has cancelled many concerts, and has not fulfilled her potential as a new artist in the US! I hope she makes it to the Grammy's!

Amy Winehouse is still mulling a trip to Los Angeles for the Grammy Awards on Sunday, despite being checked into a London rehab facility. The singer recently visited the U.S. Embassy in London to discuss obtaining a visa so that she can travel to the States, where she is nominated for six Grammys. She was accompanied by her father, Mitch Winehouse, and a nurse from her treatment program. A rep for the singer said "no decision" has been made as to whether Winehouse will appear at the awards, according to E! "The appointment at the U.S. Embassy was made some time ago and was part of the process for obtaining a visa," the rep said. "Amy was accompanied by a nurse, as the appointment was under supervision. She has not left rehab and remains under the care of the clinic."
