She is a genius Capri. I sent her a free copy of my book signed as thanks for such an awesome interview with me. She loved it and said she remembered that interview. Larissa the girl who gave it to her said Katy was weird. I said she isn't anymore weird than you or I. Her interview is now archived on my site but she's totally awesome and a sweetheart! Everyone vote for her as a nominee for best female video for the MTV video awards. She deserves it.

They just had a story about her in the paper about how big her hit is, I Kissed A Girl. LOL, they even had an article by a PHD, that says exploring your sexuality with the same sex, is normal,lol

that is what the whole song is about actually. Believe it or not it being normal. The it felt so right it felt so wrong. the whole curiousity factor. I hear her get a lot of s.hit for her song because people don't realize she's actually putting out there that omg straight girls have gotten curious and experimented etc. She once said that her parents are pastors and gay/straight/bi convo was such taboo growing up. That the notion that anyone would want to kiss someone of the same sex to just uh..try it and explore their sexuality was just not talked about. I read in an article once that her parents were upset over I kissed a girl single and it being a hit. She said when she was under their roof she talked about what they wanted her to, but now as an adult living on her own she talks about everything she wants to. She also has a song called ur so gay to an ex boyfriend that she gotten heat for. But she says he really probably should've been gay and it wasn't meant to stereoytype anyone lol. She said you know what I have a lot of gay friends, and I don't care if you're gay or straight. Love who you wanna love and be happy. Then when she was asked if she was a lesbian she said no but I am saving myself for Miley cyrus. She said she gets a lot of girls, gay or straight offering to kiss her at shows. and she is like sorry have a boyfriend and I hope he doesn't mind ;p. she's so funny.
