ok so ive never really liked faith hill, well i did when she first came out and then we got to meet her at swampstock(it's a big festival here in LA where Tim grew up) and she was a total witch, just very rude and ignored everybody. i hate that b/c thats what i remember of her...

anyways, i dont think she was joking when she said "WHAT" to carrie underwood winning...maybe she was but she wasn't laughing at all...anyways it was kinda distasteful i thought. what ya'll think?

I don't think she was joking either...the way she stormed off, and when they first showed her she seemed to be mouthing somethng like "I better win" or something....maybe thats just me. And that she put her arms up in a celebratory way just before the winner was announced....she may have been tipped off, or just plain c ocky!

I believe Faith, when she says that it was all a joke. I don't believe that she's that stupid to do something like that on National Television... Whatever the case, I really like Carrie, but I don't believe that she should have won FVOTY... Her Album isn't even a year old yet, and she had already won the Horizon award earlier in the evening. Something just doesn't seem right to me there. Whatever. It doesn't matter what I think.

i agree, she knew she was in front of a camera, she wouldnt of been stupid enough to do that in public.

She doesn't want to be bothered sometimes, just like everyone else. What if her cat just died or she lost a sock in the hamper?

But she didn't even crack a smile or anything. And she stormed off right away.

Plus, even IF it was a joke, it was a very tasteless one!

I pretty much agree with you livingnightmare, I have watched these awards for years, and I think Carrie completely deserved the Horizon Award, but maybe not the Female Vocalist of the Year. Doesn't Martina usually win that? I think next in line after Martina is Faith Hill, and then Gretchen Wilson, I'm not even sure Faith or Gretchen have ever won this award! I guess it is the trend to go with the newbies, don't get me wrong. I know Carrie is gonna be the voice and face of country music for years to come! She's got it all! I voted for her on American Idol from the beginning!

I believe Gretchen has already won Female Vocalist of the Year before... I think she was a newbie when she won too. I don't get how someone who's been out less than a year can win this award. Like I said before, it doesn't matter what I think, but I believe Martina, Faith, Gretchen, or Sara should have won before Carrie, just because they've been around longer. Personally, I'd have liked to see Sara win it, just because of the difficult time she's going through right now.

As for Faith... I thought the Joke was funny. To me, it looked like she was making fun of Kanye(sp?) West, and what he did at the MTV Europe Awards. That's what I took from it, and really didn't expect it to even get this big...

Speaking of the awards... Did anyone see Miranda Lambert performing her new song, "Crazy Ex Girlfriend"? Now, I'm a HUGE Miranda Lambert fan, but I hated this song! The whole time I was like, "WTF is this??? Miranda come on!".... It looked to me like she was trying too hard to be a rocker. I just hope this isn't a preview of what her new album will be like. Her debut is awesome. Not a bad song on the whole thing.

I did like Gretchen Wilson's new song, "Come To Bed". She can really sing! I'm looking forward to her new album too.

yeah, she just seemed kinda cocky and like "my arms are in the air cause i'm expectin this award" attitude.....maybe she should have won the award, i'm really not a country fan, but i LOVE gretchen wilson, but still if she was joking she should of laughed a bit after she said what!

my opinion is a little biased because of how i saw faith acting at the festival we were at. i understand people want to be left alone, but this part of the festival was a meet and greet for everyone and she was just actin like a brat! they planned the m&g, not us!!!!

hey! i just saw you were at daytona! are you a nascar fan too or just there for lisa? nascar and lisa are my two fave things, so needless to say i was on cloud 9!

I don't really like Nascar, but we were in Orlando on vacation when I realized just how close we were to Lisa. My father loves racing, so we all went. I had a great time at Lisa's concert, but didn't really like the race. It took forever to get started (the rain). Plus, we still had to drive all the way back to Orlando that same night, and we were all tired.

It was a pretty cool place though...
