IT Was soo cool to see him get that award as well as Miss Allison..
I think all the "real majikal" music i.e. Zepp, Floyd Boys, the MAC ...you know.... and i think all good rock and country are coming together....and the CMT AWARDS ROCKED I THOUGHT ...and im not much of a country music person....love the classics...but anyway even the EAGLES were nominated...and i forgot that (im old but not tht old lol 69')...in the 70s? the EAGLES were considered an original country band? correct me plz if im wrong im too lazy to research it right now lol...but no..the CMT AWARDS were great ...im not much of a B.Cyrus fan...love miss hannah ...but anyway ...it was so neat to see Robert Plant win a country music award...and eeeeeeek he and Miss Allison are comin here soon!!!! and KIDD realizes what im sayin too i bet about the country / rock relationship right now ... the country i like is what ELVIS did ''for the ggod times'','' he'll have to go'',etc. the classics are great! this stuff nowa days is too girly all about getin off at 5 and grab'n a marguerita, but nashville down on printers row is the place to be [besides MEMPHIS[GERMANTOWN]

I saw the awards.. I was so happy to see em win! My Plant/Krause show is this Tuesday.. I'm sooooo stoked! I'm gonna try to take pics
I'm drawn to the old stuff, the kind I heard growin up as a kid in my parents house.. Hank, Cash, Twitty.. love Elvis country too! I like the way country has taken on so many different influences these days. I think Lisa's "Lights Out" did pretty well on the country charts.. I don't consider that country!!! LMAO But I’m glad it did. It's funny how the genre’s crossover sometimes. |
