Ya know, these two great guitarists have had an album out for a while now. Any music lovers here heard of it? Anyone here heard of JJ Cale.

Oh yes I have heard of JJ Cale! He's a good ol Tulsa boy, and wrote a few of Claptons signature songs! I'm going to see Eric Clapton in concert this coming Monday night too!! Big Grin

Yea, that Derek Trucks was quite impressive last night!! Big Grin I loved the Robert Cray band also, I've never seen them live before.

Did Robert Cray jam with Clapton? I love him. His playing is so clean and he's got a great voice.

Yea, Robert Cray came out on the encore and jammed and sang with Eric on Crossroads!!

I really liked the concert...BUT... they played alot of very obscure songs from Erics past, and I prebably didn't know 85% of the songs. I still enjoyed it I just wishe he had played more songs I knew! lol

Don't know much about JJ Cale except for the song stuff, but Clapton...yes. i've only heard a few clips from this album though, but it's pretty good from what i've heard.
