Ya know, these two great guitarists have had an album out for a while now. Any music lovers here heard of it? Anyone here heard of JJ Cale.

Oh yes I have heard of JJ Cale! He's a good ol Tulsa boy, and wrote a few of Claptons signature songs! I'm going to see Eric Clapton in concert this coming Monday night too!!

Yea, that Derek Trucks was quite impressive last night!! I loved the Robert Cray band also, I've never seen them live before.

Yea, Robert Cray came out on the encore and jammed and sang with Eric on Crossroads!!

I really liked the concert...BUT... they played alot of very obscure songs from Erics past, and I prebably didn't know 85% of the songs. I still enjoyed it I just wishe he had played more songs I knew! lol

Don't know much about JJ Cale except for the song stuff, but Clapton...yes. i've only heard a few clips from this album though, but it's pretty good from what i've heard.

which btw i was at a really weird Dead show in miami 1990? ....some where around there .....very strange trip THAT one was. ...lol
