Actually, the original song is said to have a more "Rock" edge to it. There's not a guitar one to be found on the dance mix. I'm counting down the hours until this single goes on sale!!! I'm so excited to hear the new album. Among the new tracks are: "Anymore", "Maybe", "Never Again", "Can I have a Kiss", and possibly "Haunted", which we've been hearing about for years, lol. Wow, now I'm rambling. Srry! lol

Kelly Clarkson is getting more in touch with her Rock side, as well as addressing more personal issues, on her new CD, My December. Fans can already get an idea of the vibe from the first single, "Never Again," in which Clarkson chastises an ex-beau for cheating on her and marrying the other woman.

"I had somebody at my label say they didn't like it because it was too Pat Benatar," Clarkson told MTV News of the new song. "I was like, 'Now I really like it! I love her, and what's wrong with you?' I love any kind of Rock chick who's just totally into what she's doing. What's funny is that we now think of her as a Rock icon, but she was pretty Pop as well. And I'm pretty Pop too — I'm a Rock/Pop girl, which is cool with me."

Clarkson is currently shooting a video for the track in Los Angeles, in which she gets to haunt her ex. "It's kind of like What Lies Beneath," she said, referencing the Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer movie. "You don't know if he killed me or if he's just being haunted by his conscience."

But despite this one song of anger and revenge, Clarkson promises that My December isn't a cold album. "There's more 'me' on this record," she said. "I had more hold on the reins because I wrote the entire thing. It wasn't planned like that, because I don't think you have to write everything you sing, but on this one I had a lot to say. I'm not even this open with boyfriends!"

The singer also worked with bass-playing Punk legend Mike Watt on the new CD, though she admits that she didn't know who he was before he played on six of the tracks. "I'm not that huge into Indie Punk — I didn't grow up around that," she explained to MTV. "He's phenomenal. I was like, 'Oh no, please don't be that indie guy,' like you're too cool for Pop. But he wasn't like that at all. He was way humble — more modest than he should have been, because he's really talented."

Kelly Clarkson is getting ready to begin her rescheduled tour in support of My December, after the original dates were scrapped earlier this summer. Two October dates in New York have been announced, and MTV.com reports that a full tour announcement is on the way in two weeks.

Thanks for the infor Lil. I hope she tours UK again, she was awesome when she came last year. I would love to go and see her again

Kelly Clarkson's original summer tour was cancelled in mid-June, due to poor ticket sales and amidst troubles with her former management. Now Clarkson's new tour has been announced, with two months' worth of shows beginning in Verona, NY on October 10. Additionally, fans who had bought tickets for the original tour are eligible for a pre-order code from Ticketmaster to buy tickets first for the new shows.

In related news, Clarkson is nominated for a Country Music Award along with Reba McEntire for their duet, "Because Of You." Clarkson will also perform as part of the NFL Opening Kickoff this Thursday night before the New Orleans Saints take on the Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts.
