Okay I admit I've never really listened to his music before, so I didnt really know what type of music he sang... but when I heard his song on the show 'So you think you can dance' last week, I was shocked!! The song is called "SexyBack", and its jammin'!! Its like house music at a club! VERY COOL! The video is also very well choreographed, and I have to say... he was D.AMN sexy in it! LOL
So here's an recent article on him and his new album: When Justin Timberlake took the stage at the House of Blues in Hollywood on Friday night, he treated the packed house of mostly female fans and celebrities to some old hits and plenty of new tunes from his upcoming album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, due September 12. The singer made his way onstage to the Inspector Gadget theme before opening with "Cry Me a River," and MTV.com reported that girlfriend Cameron Diaz was singing along from the balcony (which we guess means they're not broken up, as some tabloids have reported). Timberlake then previewed "My Love," the next single from his new LP, and "D.AMN Girl," a club track. Black Eyed Peas mastermind Will.I.Am joined JT onstage for the latter song and rapped along with the singer. Timberlake also played the slow jam "Until the End of Time" and another new one called "Love Stone." Justin played the keyboard for another new one called "What Goes Around," and later promised "some Memphis hip-hop" as two members of Three 6 Mafia, who are featured on the new LP, joined him onstage for a new jam. Producer Timbaland was the next guest, and JT performed the part of Nelly Furtado in a quick version of the single "Promiscuous" before the two closed the show with the latest single, "SexyBack." MTV.com reports that celebrities spotted on the scene included Paris and Nicky Hilton, Tyra Banks, Spike Lee, Ellen DeGeneres, Kate Bosworth and Lance Bass. I think it's a cool song, to me it's less about singing and more of a techno type song. Definetly club music!

I liked the stuff on his first album, but the new song I heard the first few seconds and I changed channels, I didn't like it, maybe if I listened to it more, it's grow on me, but I've not really given it a chance lol

I loved his first cd and I have to agree that the first time I heard SexyBack, I really wasn't a fan but I really like it now.

not a big fan, in fact, not a fan at all lol, he just seems like a rip off of michael jackson and usher type artists...just my opinion
his songs are catchy though ha

I actually liked his singles to his first album. I don't know anything else about that album, because I have only heard the singles. However, I was dissapointed when I heard this song. I didn't think that it was actually singing, and I just wasn't a fan. With that said, I'm sure that the album will sell well because Justin has a very, very strong fan base.

I know, I know! I agree with all of what you guys are saying!!!! I have never been a fan either and typically dont care for that type of music. I dont know, something about it caught my attention. LOL
Thank you guys for not ripping my head off for posting my opinion, lmao...and for just talking about different artists and music nicely, lol. The video is pretty "spicy".., I give the dude credit!! My impression of his old music, is he wanted to be Michael Jackson. This is very different! Still not sure if he is really a singer, or more of a producer! I heard his new cd is all about the producing.
