Ok, to be honest Patti Smith's "Because The Night" is one of my all time favorite songs! I actually owned a 45 record of this song, yes I am old! As much as I liked this song, I never bought an album by her until a few weeks ago. I got her Best Of cd, it's called "Land". I had recently watched the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceromonies, where she was inducted, and then sang a few songs. She was funny and sounded awesome, so I decided I needed to check out her music. I have not stopped playing her cd for 2 weeks! Wow she has some cool songs! Too many to list! Check out this cd, it's a double, the first cd is amazing! Disc 2 has some awesome songs too! I am soooo glad I bought this cd!

I know what u mean Majik....she does seem a little scary! I think that's why I never bought a whole album/cd before. But I cannot stop playing this one! Soooo many awesome songs! Dancing Barefoot, People Have the Power, Gloria, Paths That Cross...OMG and an awesome cover of When Doves Cry!!!
LJ, I also heard she is having a new cd, comes out in a few weeks. It's all covers of her favorite songs. All I know is she sings "White Rabbit", and that has got to be worth the price of the cd!!!!
