Lets see....hummmm....a lot of these were from back in the day when I went to concerts all the time all over the Southeast...I was very fortunate to meet some of these performers too! Did anybody else get M&G's to shows that they've seen?

Jackyll Static X Rob Zombie Kiss Areosmith (M&G) Kid Rock LA Guns Def Lepard Lynyrd Skynyrd Korn Staind Faster P.ussycat Bon Jovi Slaughter Kixx Cinderella (M&G) Winger Marlyn Manson Pantera Ratt Poison (M&G) Great White John Mayer Kelly Clarkson Maroon 5 Disturded Red Hot Chili Peppers Pat Bennatar that's about all I can think of...bringing back the memories! Yes, there's no denying it, a part of me has always loved the loud & aggressive music. It's a tension release believe it or not. Not only that it use to annoy the s.hit outta my parents when I would blast it on the stereo! LOL
 I feel very lucky that my son loves pretty much all the same kinda music as I do, thank goodness!  About the M&G, Motley bailed on us after the show...no reason was given, just that they would not be meeting fans that night...I was sorta p.issed @ first but I don't hold it against them. They put on a great show @ least back then they did. I haven't seen them recently since they all started touring together again. Tommy Lee was my fav. I have a thing for drummers! I have always loved guys w/ long hair too. The hair thing really doesn't matter anymore, but I still love drummers!! Oh, I gotta tell you this…I’ve seen Motley a few times & one time the band Warrant was opening up for them…Well, me & my friends all decided to go to the hotel that Motley was stayin in town & to try & see if we could meet them before the show, right… We ended up running into the band Warrant. Keep in mind that this was before Warrant became big time & everyone knew who they were. Well, we “assumed” that they were all bunch of roadies.. They came over to us & was talking but they never said that they were in a band, I guess they “assumed” that we knew who they were…We ended up asking them if they could help us meet Motley & they got p.issed & walked off! That night when we saw them on stage we all just about passed out! Can you believe that! LOL Needless to say we didn’t meet Motley! But who cares, that s.hit was funny! I remember watching VH1 behind the music and the rock bands would talk about how they would pick out groupie in the concert to sleep with them , and how groupie would have tags on who they sleeped with the roadly to funny

Here is a concert story for you ... "Coles Notes Version"...
I saw D21C - DOORS of the 21st Century (when they were allowed to be called that) in Toronto .. The show was great and when LA woman was performed I rushed right up to the front... (got some good pics & mini videos) .. Anyway after the show some guy was walking around with a "Pass" and I remember thinking how lucky he was!! I waited for all of the crowd to clear and my sister & I walked outside to leave... There he was RAY MANZAREK - drinking a Bud and having a smoke.... I called out to him and he said Hello - I walked up to him and asked ofr a pciture ... he says "go ahead and take it" .. I said, "Uh.. NO - Me & You in a picture"...I showed him my t-shirt that I made w Jim Morrison w his beared and he could tell by my horse voice that I sang all night ... he said ok..... He leaned into me and my sister tried to take the pic -- my memory stick was FULL on my digital camera (f u c k ) .. I said to him "this s h i t always yhapens to me" - So I wildly deleted pics from the show.. My sister took the pic and then I thanked hime for a GREAT SHOW... once people saw the flash they all swarmed us! Yelling for Autographs & Pics..... he talked for a sec to one guy, flicked his cigarette to the ground and said plainly "NO" and walked inside..... WOW - It was so amazing!!!!! Disturbed was @ Ozzfest when I saw them once too. They were walkin through the crowd just talkin to peep! It was soooo cool! Very nice guys. I am definately down w/ the sickness! |
