I don't know if there has already been a post about CARRIE UNDERWOOD yet, but I needed to post one! Her New CD ROCKS!!!!! So definitely go out and buy it, people! I know its a little bit country-ish but its a beautiful CD, she can do alot with her voice! (Ducky can attest to this, lol)
She has some really good songs on there, like:

"Some Hearts"
"Jesus Take the Wheel"
"Before he Cheats" - (where she sounds a little like Christina Aguilera)

Lil, I was online earlier trying to find a Carrie Underwood thread, cause I was playing her cd! This kid can really sing! Her first cd and she sounds like a pro! I hope she doesn't get too overwelmed by her instant fame!

Yes! She is a doll! I got her CD and was listening to it(& Lisa) when we were driving to Kansas City for the LMP concert in November. I really liked it alot! I like that first songe "Wasted". Good job Carrie!

I agree betsy, she really did a GREAT job on her very 1st CD, she does sound like a pro! I knew the very first time i seen her on American Idol that she was gonna go very far! She seems so down to earth too, i like that.

Jeff, that is one of my fave's too!

I thought she was awesome on American Idol, when she sang that Heart song, Alone, I was so impressed!! I knew she was destined for stardom!

that song "We're young and beautiful" is so good it kind of sounds like one of the more seasoned country singers, like Martina McBride or someone?! Its so good.....wow!

That's when Carrie really won me over on that show. I'm a huge HEART fan and when she did "Alone", and did it as good as she did.... I was a fan from then on in!
