My grandmother was smack dab outta Lithuania, she used to teach me to say some things. Her maiden name was Moorse, close. I remember (in the dinasaur days, lol) when I was in JR. High, we were doing reports on our anscentors. At that time frame I was told that Lithuania didn't exist as a country anymore. Then in high school it did again.

Is there any validity to this? Just curious. Boy, that sure kinda gave away my age! LOL

My grandfather (from Sweden) met and married her there, so I should be proud of my Lithuanian blood, huh?

Rhondu, are you about 30 now? lol Yeah, the russian rats had occupied us, we were forced to be in the soviet union for 40 years, there were many european/asian countries that "didn't exist as countries anymore"...then in 1990 we regained our freedom I don't even know russian language and not planning on learning it

Ok, so all the books (before computers, 2xOUCH!) didn't lie. I had to go with Sweden for my Jr. High report. But I did find out that my REAL last name was LaBarroness, which I guess is some kind of swedish royalty, then he changed it when they came to this country to "fit in". So my report gave me something cool.

To bad most of people here are STILL trying to "fit in" when they had a lot laid out for them already! PINK, is an exception to that rule thank God! I tend to try an be an exception to that rule without being a weirdo or something. hehehehehe
