I just downloaded Lisa's performance of ''Sinkin In'' (Stacy's Site) from the half-time NBA show. I was just wondering why she mimed it for? I'm sure she had her reasons but did she ever say why she did? Its the first time I had ever seen that performance and it just took me by surprise a little when it was identical to the CD apart from where they edited the track to fit it into the half-time show.

Probably for time purposes. I think that's the one where it cut some of the lyrics out. That would be my guess.

True. But it just took me by surprise because its the first time I had ever seen her mime her vocals. I heard that some artists do have to mime their vocals at big events and in the middle of a big stadium where they can't really hear themselves.
