I'm sorry, but doesn't anyone else think this whole Paris Hilton-in court **** is getting out of hand? Yeah, she deserves it...but we have a lot of things to cover...more important things!
She's spoiled...and she should serve her time IN JAIL! If Paris would have been plain old Jane, she would have still been in jail! Look at this ****...Paris crying as she is taken away to Court...boo-hoo! Paris crying How come she didn't cry when she broke the law? Stupid spoil brat! |

I agree. She needs to relize that she is no better than the rest of us. You do the crime, you do the time.

Oh booo hoooo hoooooo.... Mommy, they are sending me back to jail, where I get my own private cell, and I never have to come into contact with the other inmates (except one hour a day), and they give me anything I want.
Cry me a ****ing river! I say we put her and Lindsey in boat and push that b1tch out to sea!!!!!! LMFAOOOOO |

I feel sorry for her. 45 days in jail for a traffic offense is ridiculous. But she was willing to do the time, and served 5 days. After meeting with her psychiatrist and medical professionals from the jail, the Sherrif's department advised her that it was in her best interest for her to do the rest of her time on House Arrest. So she followed their orders and went home (which im sure she was thrilled to do.) Well the Sheriff never filed any paperwork with the court informing the judge of their decision, and now because of a mistake by the Sheriff, she must go back to jail. And ontop of all that, her sentence, which was cut to 23 days for good behavior, has been revoked and the original 45 day sentence stands.

Driving under the influence of alcohol KILLS ppl..its not like she changed lanes without using her signal... DUI.. she gets what she gets.. just like everyone else.. i dont feel bad for her AT ALL.. |

Her sentence was for a PAROL VIOLATION ... not just her DUI & driving with a suspended liscence. Violation of parole is a serious offence. In Canada, breech of probation is an automatic 30-60 days... I think that 45 days looks good on her ~ those who have $$$ are not exempt or above the law... she can cry for her mommy and think about that. "I paint my own reality. I agree with you Mojo, PresleyJ and LMPFan4Ever...this is serious! I thought she said "I am ready to face the consequences and show the world that I'm not who people think I am." That's ********! It's stupid...She is not ready to face her consequences...she's a spoiled brat.
I do feel kind of sorry for her...I feel bad when people cry...and she cried a lot. But she deserves this...she should DO HER TIME! Dang, you don't see Lisa acting that way...and she's Elvis' daughter. |

i like to think that by arresting a drunk driver the police are protecting me. when they arrest a drunk driver twice i think they are doing a very good job protecting me.

The DUI is out of the question, it was reduced to Reckless Driving. Anyways, she has been placed on Suicide Watch for 24 hours and is filing an appeal with the court.
I understand that DUI is a very serious offense. But do you not realize how awful it must feel to be let out of jail because the Sheriff told you it was ok, and then be thrown back in because the Sheriff made a mistake? This message has been edited. Last edited by: sinking in, |

sure, i understand, i'd probably be disappointed if it happened to me. what i dont understand is why she thinks she can disregard the court order to enroll in alcohol education and continue to drive while her license is revoked. if she could have found within herself the ability to abide by the original court order she might not be where she is today. jmo.

You've got to be kidding??? A traffic offence??? Have you ever lost anyone to a drunk driver? If you had, then you probably wouldn't be feeling so sorry for this stupid bimbo!!! As far as I'm concerned, if they would spend as much time and money going after drunk drivers as they do smokers - then getting on the streets would be a lot safer for everyone!! Drunk drivers kill a heck of a lot more than second hand smoke! The only reason they don't address this issue more seriously is because the politicians are first in line at the liquor stores!!!! I'll say it loud and I'll say it proud "I'm totally insane"!! LMP - 8/97 Memphis 8/02 Memphis 5/03 Houston 10/03 Austin 10/05 Memphis 5/06 Memphis 10/06 Vinton, La 10/06 Austin |

I'm sorry to say this but, I think Paris should have never been released from jail in the first place. If it was an average citizen (SP) we would not get any special treatment. Did anyone see Larry King Live last night? A PSY.D. PSYCHOTHERAPIST ROBI LUDWIG said:
"I don't know if she's hit rock bottom yet. I don't know if she's hit a crisis yet. If she's ordering in somebody to come in and give her a tan, that tells me that maybe reality hasn't set in, that when you drive drunk you can kill somebody." "It's not funny. Prison is not hilarious. And the dark side of fame is you get the rewards, you get treated very well and then the dark side is you get treated roughly." I have to agree with these statements made by Robi Ludwig. This message has been edited. Like I said, DUI is a very serious offense and is NOT a traffic offense. But Reckless Driving IS a traffic offense, and that's what she ended up being charged with. Plus, she blew a .08 which is the bare minimum to be considered impaired. Obviously the Judge has it in for her. He's abusing his power. Why would he lower her sentence to 23 days and then after the SHERIFF makes a mistake and lets her out without filing the correct paperwork, he punishes Paris for the Sheriff's mistake by reinstating her original 45 day sentence...23 days in jail seemed fine to me, and I figured she could do it. She was advised by the Sheriff that due to her "medical problem", she needed to finish out her sentence at home. Of course she listens to him. But the Sheriff didn't file any motions to have her released, he just let her out. So she's being punished for his mistake. This message has been edited. Last edited by: sinking in, |

I like what Jay Leno said...did anyone else see it?
He said, "Paris Hilton was released from jail and she's now in house arrest in her mansion. SHUT UP! Couldn't she be serving House arrest in a guest house or something?" That's so true! Let's punish her by getting her home, in her mansion, while she drinks even more...and has some steak...and do whatever the hell she wants in her home. BS! She needs to be in jail...she wanted to prove to the world that she wanted to be treated like anyone else...well, she hasn't shown that just yet! |
