So I was doing my reading today for my psyc class on child development and guess who is on the first page of the chapter, Mr. Elvis Presley.

It was talking about how he was born at home and how many people use to do that and then it went to lots of people having babies in hospitals and then now there is a movement back towards the more intimate birthing atmosphere of the home.

Anyway, I just wanted to share. Smiler

That's fantastic! My son came home today and for a music assignment had questions about Elvis! I think it's wonderful that people are teaching about him and the birth of Rock-N-Roll!!!

I've seen him in a french social studies textbook when i was in Quebec...

it was about cultural changes through popular music.

Someone once told me that there is an actual University course @ Memphis University - It is a psychology class which is based on Elvis.

It is studying of "the EVLIS Phenomenon" . and all of the psychological aspects and theories that are associated with it..

That must be a ROCKIN' TEXT BOOK!!

My son wrote an essay on Elvis and Lisa for one of his classes. He did an awesome job on it. The teacher was so impressed it was posted and the teacher was very interested. She told Drew that she had to go out and buy Lisa's CD. Then thanked him, she loves Lisa's music (and who wouldn't......) LISA ROCKS!!!!) Big Grin
