i was shocked to hear the news on monday! i never thought he would die - he was Steve Irwin, he was ment to be unstopable! he kissed crocs on the mouth!
Apparently he had time to remove the sting rays barb, i hope he didn't i hope it was an instant death, if he had time to remove the barb he would have known what it was, where it hit him and what it ment.
I feel really sorry for his wife and 2 children. How would she break the news to her kids their dad's dead? (he was apparently shooting footage for his daughters show when it happened).

bindi sue(cutest name ever) is gunna be so sad, and i know it would break steves heart to know how sad she's going to be. what a tragedy, he cared so much about saving the animals.

Did you know Bindi Sue was named after steves favourite croc Bindi and his dog Sue and his other child Robert (Bob) was named after Steves Dad.

Steve will not be given a state funeral (his family declined the offer) but a memorial will be established and there may even be a day in hius honour (hopefully to raise money for the wildlife causes).
Steves dad said Terry is doing as well as can be expected. He also said this hasn't been like losing a son to him "it's like losing your best mate"
