I just recv'd from my wonderful wonderful friend an in depth acct. of LMP @ the concert and the concert itself...WOW SHE'S SOOO AWESOME!
I don't know if he wants it posted here as he's gone to bed, so I have posted it to my forum...LISA ROCKED! I will say she sang the last part of the song LIVE!
If he gives ok to post to this forum I shall do so.

YAY he said ok to post here, so here it is for those of us who couldn't make it this year..

YAY LISA!!!!!

Hi Suz!
Just got back in from the concert. The duet was AWESOME!!!!!!! At the end of the duet, the screen started coming up (right before the ending of In the ghetto) yet the music kept playing........ And.............To finish the song was Lisa LIVE (!!) Onstage with the sweet inspirations (!!!!)......... She ripped the "Person" in the press a new ******** after the song, when she gave a little speech about Presley Place in New Orleans.. Something like "This was SUPPOSED to be a surprise, but a member of the press who was supposed to keep this a secret leaked this ALL OVER"............ LOL. But, it really was great..... The beggining of the concert and Lisa was the highlights for me......At the start of the concert, instead of the usual "2001' theme, they played the "Fake" one from "Elvis on tour"....Then up on the screen popped "Elvis" (Actor? CGI?) walking down the steps upstairs at graceland, out the door , with george klein and Joe and some others by his side into the "Aloha" helicopter....Then Flying across memphis, over the fedex forum (which Elvis then says, "Sure is a big place") And it SOUNDED like the helicopter landing right there IN the forum!!! You could actually feel it!
Anywho, Lisa when she was onstage was wearing a really neat BRIGHT RED dress.

anyway The whole concert was just so emotional (for me anyway i cried thru most of it) and was the best ever! She truly outdid herself on the song/video that she is releasing tomarrow and I can't think of anything better that she could have done. I love her and she is just so so much an inspiration to us all! Please everyone download this tomarrow and show your support to Lisa,Elvis,Presleys Place and New Orleans! I am so glad I was there to share this amazing night and am so in awe of this wonderful family and what they stand for!
