Hi, I was wonderin if anyone has heard Riley speak about Elvis publicly? Has she ever talked about him bein her grandfather or if she's proud of him?
Not to knock her. I think she is beautiful and looks a lot like Lisa and Elvis. But I just hope she doesn't get the big head as most stars do and forget why she's in the bizz in the first place and who's looks she inherited. |

She briefly mentioned him, but not by name to my recollection...in a Vogue interview or something....said she read/heard that she got the modeling gigs 'cause of her grandfather, or something to that effect and felt that she was already getting it b4 she started...not those words exactly but that was the gist of it.
Lisa has said in interviews that they are aware of who their grandfather is & @ the groundbreaking of Presley Place she said they wanted to be there w/o her even asking them...and they've been to Graceland so I'm sure they know about him. I wanna hear her thoughts, not just what Lisa or Cilla say. I wanna know what her fav songs are, by her legendary grandfather. I just think she needs to start acknowledging who he is.

I hear u and it would be nice to know, but when I think about it, what could she say? She did not know him, all she has is what is told her...plus perhaps, she wants to forge her own career seperate from who her grandfather was, u know what I mean?

EVEN IF SHE WASN'T RELATED TO ELVIS SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN A MODEL CUZ SHE IS PRETTY & IT'S WHAT SHE WANTS TO DO.NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT LISA WAS, CILLA WAS & HER MOM WAS. LightsOut, why are you yelling? I asked a simple question. I never said that Riley is big headed or Lisa either. I think all 3 Presley girls are cool as hell.
Although I do think since Riley IS Elvis' grandchild and she IS the 1st grandchild of R&R that she should mention him when asked about him. From what I have heard her dad doesn't want her to talk about Elvis. He sounds more envious and jealous of Elvis than anything. What other reason would he have to tell the reporters to never ask about Elvis? And by the way, in case you was wonderin YES I am an Elvis fan too. |

I don't think Lisa wants her asked about him because the media hounds would eat that little girl up to try and get something she said about him in print.I'm sure as involved as she is with Lisa and Cilla going to Presley place ect. that she is very aware of her DNA.She is still just a young girl and her mother is VERY PROTECTIVE of her children.Lisa gets asked/compared enough I just don't think she wants her children to go through it.I think she just wants her to enjoy doing what shes doing for her and maybe when she gets a little older she will voice her thoughts.

I have heard this from several others that Riley is supposed to inherit Graceland when she turns 18. If I'm not mistaken, I heard it on our local news about a year ago ro so, or about when she blew up as a model. Anyone know about that?

Just cause she doesnt speak publically about him, doesnt mean she doesn't acknowledge him!
But then, If she were to talk about it all the time, then "people" would use that against her & say that she was using THAT to get her places blah blah.. she cant win either way can she?! She deserves to be successful in her career as a model, and NOT just because of who her grandfather is.
