For your info, I am not some reporter. I am a former model myself, but now in college at the University Of Memphis, in Elvis and Lisa's home town by the way. I don't think I said anythiing to deserve to be mistreated like this.

try livin in the ghetto bein a little rich white girl at 28 years old ...the black people ive known AND loved never liked to talk about Elvis...becoz he sang the black mans blues. ...but if you look at it as Elvis ; an outlet for the black mans music ... i.e. in those times exspecially in memphis (my home town) it was vertually impossible for the GREAT black musicians to get to be heard. and as sad as it is ...just thank GOD its not like that now. ... there was a underlying racist war goin on towards the white man "in a coat" for many other reasons than Elvis. jmo. as im sure you already know. ...and hey welcome to the forum...i havent talked to you before ....and also im just really talkin about memphis on this subject.

Well, if you couldn't tell your friends that you liked Elvis, they probably weren't your friends anyway.

I sympathize for ya…are they still your friends since you're out of the closet??? There are those who don't think it's "cool" to like Elvis. IMO, if you really love Elvis, there's no hiding it...Also, did you think it was easy for a young white boy from Tupelo, MS singin the black mans blues for white America. Elvis was the pioneer. Look who's laughing now!!!

I don’t think it would be beneficial for Riley to talk about Elvis, I’d rather she talk about herself right now. But, if she decides to share her feeling about her grandfather, that would be nice. Peep already try to say Lisa is making her name off her dad, they would prob do the same to Riley as well.

and btw ...what would be said different by Riley? Lisa and Priscilla knew him not Riley. She only knows him by blood/spiritual connection. and i think Riley definatly already knows HER GRANDFATHER is LEGENDARY....but anyway im over this conversation. ..sorry i rambled on ...* i respect yer point of view tho. ...im just debating not arguing. ...
