Priscilla Presley To Attend Tiger Basketball Game Against Houston

Priscilla Presley - actress, producer, author, entrepreneur, leadership team member of Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc./CKX, Inc. and former wife of Elvis Presley – has made plans to attend the University of Memphis Tigers' regular season home basketball finale with the University of Houston. The game, which will be carried by CBS-TV, will be played on February 25 at 1 PM at FedExForum.

Presley, who has co-starred in the highly successful Naked Gun trilogy of films and the iconic Dallas television series, and has made acclaimed special guest star appearances on several top television series while maintaining her career in business, will attend the game as the guest of Memphis Athletic Director R.C. Johnson and his wife Melba.

Halftime activities at the game will feature a special presentation by Ms. Presley and Jack Soden, President & CEO of Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. Two scholarships are being established at the University in the name of Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation. One of the scholarships will be awarded to the 11-time, world-champion Memphis Pom-Pon Squad. The second will be designated for a student-intern who will be assigned to work in the athletic director's office.

The Pom-Pon squad will perform a special routine during halftime in honor of Elvis Presley and his family, and Johnson will bestow upon Ms. Presley the title of honorary Tiger letter-winner.
