I hope so as well phonelines, because as cool as cancelled cheques are, etc...this is way more historic I would think, espescially w/their wedding attire being on display u know?

Elvis did give away his horseshoe ring that matched Cilla's..It was on a plane and EP gave it to some guy and girl(I am not 100% sure on this..it has been awhile) who wanted to get married and didn't have enough $$$...But I do know he gave it away on a plane..bc it was b4 he bought the Lisa Marie and he flew first class... and went to coach and elsewhere talking to fans and what knot..The pics where he has on a yellow shirt....da mn my memory is bad..lol...let's just hope it is not true...

That's what I was going to say. With all of the artifacts that they have on the grounds of Graceland, I can't imagine something with that importance would be sold. Granted - that is just my assumption - but you all know what they say about assuming!

The horseshoe rings that matched were quite different then their wedding sets.
I re-checked and it was confirmed by Marty Lacker that his ORIGINAL wedding ring was lost on the grounds of Graceland right around their first wedding anniversary. You should really check with Elvis Insiders. They really know their stuff over there, and they also said that yes Priscilla did lose her ring while horseback riding on the grounds.
Priscilla had tied hers around a bandana around her neck while horseback riding, and then noticed it was gone, they said, and indeed it was lost. Here is what I got from there regarding Marty's statement about the ring. So it is a mystery if is is or is not the actual ring. We looked for it for awhile but that was a big ranch and he really didn't want us to find it, we did it for show because Priscilla was there. Supposedly, according to David Stanley, Elvis years later gave her the ring when she and David were either going to be or were married. I have read that, yrs ago but in one of the books I have they said it was Elvis' wedding ring...
