Eight cut diamonds set inside another 16 diamonds made up the wedding ring that Elvis Presley gave to Priscilla, in one of the most famous marriages of the 20th Century, and it happened right here in Vegas on May 1,1967. Now flash forward to tomorrow, November 16, 2006, when that diamond and platinum band will go back on display at the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood resort, exactly where the King unveiled it on the wedding day!

By amazing coincidence, Priscilla made one of her very rare forays into Vegas last night just as gossips note that daughter Lisa Marie is spending more and more time with pop singer Ryan Cabrera. Lisa was in no hurry to split Vegas after her weekend concert with Ryan at the Empire Ballroom. They stayed on here and Priscilla flew in to join them. So, as a foursome Priscilla, Danielle and Lisa Marie Presley with Ryan and a battalion of bodyguards in tow, hit the celebrity hotspot, Social House at the TI. They took over a 20-seat, private dining room so other guests wouldn't even know they were in the Asian themed restaurant. Chef Joseph Elevado prepared a supper of Kobe burgers, shrimp and lobster in spicy lemon sauce and then assembled a giant dessert platter so they could sample every one of the menu's dessert delicacies.

The Elvis and Priscilla wedding was celebrated as one of the most famous marriages of the 20th Century. Their ring will be among more than $2-million worth of exclusive movie and TV memorabilia set for a December 14-15 auction by Profiles in History, in a live and simultaneous internet sale. The ring, along with a selection of the most coveted items from the auction, will go on display from tomorrow and remain at the Aladdin until December 10. Its band is decorated with 8 baguette-cut diamonds set within a border of 16 fill-cut diamonds.

Are they insinuating that there is something between Lisa and Ryan, or are they just too ignorant not to realise that they are touring together, and that he is dating her daughter?
