Lisa deserves a record company that will support and promote her!! Some artists do even better overseas than they do here in the states. I heard that Juliette Lewis has a huge following overseas and tours there often! The American music industry has such a narrow view of what should be played on radio and promoted to the public...it's all about $$ , nothing to do with talent. Sad

Does anybody know what sort of a contract Lisa has with them? If its a short one, say 3 albums worth, there might not be much point cos i doubt Lisa would want to stay with them once it expires.

i think i heard somewhere that she only has a 3 record deal with capital, but i might be wrong. i hope she does go elsewhere, someone who will put her name out there and get her music played! i know lisa doesn't want to be judged by how popular her music is, but i just wish everyone everywhere could hear her music! i tell people that i absolutely love her music and all i get is " she's not like her dad"....ummmm. If Lisa still has a contract with capital she will have to keep it unless she can it break it. I don't think there really pushing her. Its there job to do that. Maybe its time we Shout Out. Too Radio , News, TV stations.

Ok so far, I have 16 FM Rock radio stations am going to be writing to. There all the way from Colton, califorina, San Diego, Los Angeles, In to San Francisco and Sacramento. and one in British Colombia, Canada. That also includes the station KIIS FM the one that Lisa was at.. Lots of fun lol.

Great Question, Why Radio! Have you ever heard a song so much on the radio ya just wanted to scream? It's because people call in asking for that song to be played. See Capitol in just a label. There the one that gets everything started. They send a demo out to the radio station that they think will get most play. If they don't get feed back they stop playing the song. That's why it's so important to request her music. I'm sure everyone here already has Lisa's music at home playing it. So who else could know about her if her music is not requested.Remember the old saying Out of Sight, Out of Mind, Same here.

I agree ~ as far as the lable goes ~ I thought by writing as aGROUP - it would be a good "pre - strike" before the next album drops (which I'm sure is in the can) - but they need to PROMOTE her initially ~ then go 4 the Radio ~ they don;t support her tour$$, s h i t ~ they don;t even have her bio on their web site>>> Hello?
