"Oprah & Gayle's Big Adventure" Includes a Visit with Lisa Marie Presley & Michael Lockwood at Graceland 10/5/2006
In the summer of 2006, Oprah Winfrey and her friend and colleague Gayle King took a road trip in America and shot footage along the way for a series of weekly features for the current season of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Billed as "Oprah and Gayle's Great Adventure," the trip brought the ladies to Elvis Presley's Graceland for a special evening with Lisa Marie Presley and her husband Michael Lockwood. First was a tour of Graceland, then the four gathered in the dining room for relaxed, personal conversation and a downhome-style dinner in the Presley family tradition. The Graceland feature is set to air on the Tuesday, October 10th edition of The Oprah Winfrey Show. Elvis footage will be included. I can not wait to see that,and the next day we are leaving for the Nashville show.What could be better?!! I had heard a few months ago that something to do with this was going to be on 60minutes.I have not heard anything else about that proably just a buch of **** being put out there,so don't hold me to it!!!

Thank you so much I neverget to watch Oprahs show cause of my 14 little ones I am watching, (daycare everyone daycare not mine
but I am going to have to get someone to definitely tape that one for me. I have been a fan of Lisa's since I heard her first song, I can't wait to meet her one day. My husband and I will be going to the House of Blues on November 9 to see her, YEAH! until then I will watch the recording over and over again! |
