Lessons for Lisa Marie


This is the year of axing excess and addictive habits for Lisa Marie Presley.

"I spent the first months of this new year quitting smoking (cold ---- turkey)," she recently wrote in a blog posting at LisaPresley.com.

"It was unbearable being in my own skin," Elvis' daughter says. "The absolute hardest thing I have ever done. It took months to overcome the drug's powerful pull but understanding what the process is and what nicotine does helped me fight and finally win."

In addition, Presley has kept busy writing material for her next album. "I have also been rearranging … my life and the people in it," the 39-year-old says.

39? i thought she was 38 this yr ...lol...she looks 16 ! ....ok then atleast 25...lol...
no really, im so impressed LISA quit smoking...im tryin and tryin aint gettin it. .... ...i hope to be as strong when i finally come to my senses and quit too. ...

Yup hard to believe but she is 39....
It pisses me off that the media comes here and quotes her, and no doubt will have all sorts of bs stories coming out...it ruins it for us fans who LOVE heearing from her...another venue to her probably will be closed thanks to the media...well @ least we still have myspace w/her.

I used to smoke. I am proud of Lisa and anyone who can quit. Now, I can't believe that I ever had that habit. I am so thankful that I did it and have been smoke-free for 11 yrs. now. You just can't believe how it really smells until you quit. I know I used a lot of expensive perfume and you probably couldn't even smell it for the smoke smell. LOL! Good luck to anyone who smokes on this forum who is trying to quit.

I don't see what's wrong with it. It's something very positive she did and it may inspire others to quit smoking.

I just got 4 baby kitties along w/the momma, those who have myspace and are on my friends list know what I am talking about...lol...anyway, she had 2 twin boys and I mean IDENTICAL...right down to the stripes on their legs and tail, they are honey and lighter honey, will get pics, anyway...I want to keep them, name one Elvis and the other Presley, but hubby say's 2 cats and dogs enough...lol

ok then ms kitty is happy again ...so the new road kitty is a girl? ...maybe i read the blog wrong ..lol...
i know im gonna get a pic of ms kitty coz she has been meowing for me to show road kitty her pic. ...(shes Queen you know) ....and wants to meet him ...and get a paw print autograph from him ....
HE NEEDS TO MAKE A STAMP WITH THEIR PAW PRINTS SO WE CAN GET THEIR AUTOGRAPHS TOO LMAO.

watchin E by the Presleys DVD um...FINALLY. ...the only one left in this city i think and you cant order them ....from Borders or Barnes N Noble. ...? anyway i got the last one lol....had to call like 5 different places ....anyway ...so im chillin ....LIVING ALONE AGAIN THANK GOD. I totally agree Suzana! However, I don't think Lisa will take down the website because of the stupid media. We mean a lot to her just like she means a lot to us!
