NASSAU, Bahamas - Anna Nicole Smith's former boyfriend Larry Birkhead said Tuesday that DNA tests have proven he is the father of her infant daughter. ADVERTISEMENT Birkhead emerged from a closed court hearing to announce the results. Smith's companion, Howard K. Stern, has been caring for the girl, Dannielynn, who could inherit a fortune in the wake of her mother's February death. After the hearing, Stern said he would not fight for custody. An expert in genetic evidence said the DNA analysis has proven Birkhead is Dannielynn's father. Dr. Michael Baird, who analyzed the results of a March 21 DNA test, announced the results outside the court. "Essentially, he's the biological father," Baird said. I figured he was the father. It's sad that too young people are dead, Anna and her son. What a mess. Very sad.

I'm happy he has his child,but for some rason I can't help but fell kinda bad for Stern & the baby! I have always been kinda if'y about Stern,but he did seem to love the baby! Poor baby,you know she's confused! I hope she has a good life.I did like Anna Nicole,seemed like she could be a sweet person,I hope her daughter does not take that road!I do agree the baby does look alot like Larry!
