Oooh, the ladies are having trouble playing nice.
Walters Harshly Scolds Co-Host on 'The View' By WENN| Wednesday, August 02, 2006 Photo GalleryHOLLYWOOD - Veteran newswoman Barbara Walters hit out at co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck live on air today after a disagreement over the morning-after pill. The panel on talk show The View were discussing the day's "hot topics"--including the Food and Drug Administration's plan to consider selling the morning-after pill over the counter--when the debate became heated. The politically conservative Hasselbeck could barely contain herself as the topic was introduced saying, "My heart is almost out of my chest right now--I feel very strongly about this" before venting her fury. Guest co-host Lisa Loeb tried to step in and disagree, calling Hasselbeck's views "extreme." Walters desperately tried to reign Hasselbeck in as she went on her rant, but was repeatedly cut-off. A visibly annoyed Walters took control of the conversation scolding her co-host, saying, "Elisabeth, calm down! Everybody has strong opinions on this and there are many other arguments other people could give you. "I think the most important thing, which is what we see today, is to be able to have these discussions and listen to other people's opinions and not go so crazy that you don't listen to other people's opinions. "We have to have a way of discussing this without exploding, because people have to understand each other." When Hasselbeck tried to interrupt again, Walters said harshly, "Can we stop now?" A visibly shaken Hasselbeck then ripped up her note cards as the show cut to commercial. When the show returned, Walters was comforting her teary co-host, saying, "The wonderful thing about this show is we can have discussions that we feel very emotional about. We respect your opinion." Hasselbeck appeared on the verge of tears and kissed her co-host, saying, "I love being here with you guys" before crawling into Walters' lap and being strangely cradled like a baby. ______________________________ He still stands in spite of what his scars say I’ll battle till this bitter finale Just me, my dignity and this guitar case ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself. — Dr Wayne Dyer ~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ |

I wouldn't say that she was cradled like a baby. What happened was Elisabeth and Barbara were sitting next to each other on the couch and Elisabeth put her legs on top of Barbara's for a minute. I didn't think it looked like she was being cradled, wtf. They went thru a rough spell and were makin amends.

Puppy, I looove your graphic. Luv you for that. Thanks.
"Strangely cradled like a baby" sounded so sarcastic I thought the writer just totally made it up. RedCedar, it's good to get your account since you actually saw it. Sounds like more drama in the article than on the small screen, huh? lol ______________________________ He still stands in spite of what his scars say I’ll battle till this bitter finale Just me, my dignity and this guitar case ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself. — Dr Wayne Dyer ~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~ |

It's one of my favorite morning shows. There was drama on the tube but you know how the tabs and papers gotta add their little two cents to make it more exciting. I can't wait till Rosie gets there too! I have enjoyed most of the guest hosts on there and have a few I wish coulda stayed on. I thought Kelly Pickler was very good for one and so was Debbie M, the one that used to be a regular on there a long time ago. We shall see though! 'Let your freak flag fly'-Drew Barrymore |

Knowing Rosies no-holds barred personality she will most likely but heads with all of them eventually...lol.

Joy and Rosie are actually good friends; Joy has said so on the show. I agree Rosie will butt heads with Elizabeth who is a little, shall we say, sheltered compared to Rosie. Rosie waves ahead lol.

I hope Rosie doesnt get fired because when Rosie gets started on a topic there's no stopping her !!
Dose anyone remember when Rosie had Tom Selleck on her show !! That show was tense you could hear a pin drop ! As for joy and Rosie I'm not surprised to hear those to are friends since they both are stand up comedian's . |
