I guess this might not be news to everyone but Lisa is recording her new cd in the UK right now.

And MJ's make up artist, Karen Faye, said they are talking and keeping in touch. She said them talking is helping them both heal from Michael's death.

Karen added that MJ loved Lisa very much and always did.

Many fans always ask Karen about Lisa because she was vocal about the fact that she didn't like Lisa. But she only knew MJ's side of the story. At the funeral they talked and Karen said she began to see things from Lisa's point of view. She said she learned to be less judgmental and that MJ's death changed her heart.


Oh, if you wanna see all of this you'll have to join Karen's facebook page. Thought some of you might like to hear that info. I'm hoping this means Lisa is doing better.

Yay for Lisa recording a new cd! That is exciting news and I think it is really nice that her and Karen have been talking a lot. They are probably helping each other get through this sad time.. I always knew Michael loved Lisa very much. I'm sure he loved her up until he died.

Ok..first..love that fact that LMP is recording, IF IT IS REALLY TRUE.

But...

Second...the rest of the post is uncool and seems to be an attempt at p-imping that Karen person instead of like what Pen stated, the title of the post. It was not really about LMP recording now was it?

I hope I am wrong about this, if I am..I can say "I'm sorry", but the post tells the truth of it all.

I agree with PD and WC. Sorry for the rest of you. I thnk the subject of LMP?MJ needs to be dropped.(Just my opinion).

Gosh you guys are harsh. But yeah maybe I could have worded the title better. I just paraphrased what she wrote in response to a question a fan asked about Lisa. Something along the lines of if they had talked and how was Lisa doing.

And that is what Karen said. I don't care about Karen one way or the other so I have no reason to "pimp" her as someone mentioned. I do think it's good that she is maybe seeing things in a more positive light though after talking to the only other person who knows what went in the relationship.

Aside from that I am glad Lisa is getting back to work and moving on in the healing process and life in general.

I agree that the title was misleading as the post mostly had to do with that Karen gal but I also think maybe to quick and harsh to jump the gun and go on the attack because I don't feel that OP meant any harm in what they posted....JMHO.

Incorrect. Lisa WAS in the UK but she has been back for weeks. To my knowledge her trip had nothing to do with the recording of her 3rd album. I posted details on a private forum of her being in the UK when she actually was, then someone from that forum leaked it onto their own forum. Since then a few fans have been making up stories as to why she visited the UK. So some of you so called fans should cut the sh*t and stop making up false rumors out of respect to Lisa!

How do you know she hasn't flown back? Also i don't think its rumours that are made up to attack Lisa, i mean its hardly an insult to say she's recording an album! So i dont get why you're being so defensive.

Also a friend of mine met her in a shop in regents street when she was here, and she told him she was here in relation to her music.

I've long been a fan of Lisa as a person because I totally respect how she always says what is on her mind but I never really paid much attention to her music. I didn't like the first single that was released in '03 so I figured (wrongly) that I wouldn't like the rest. Then I heard The Road Between on a friends Ipod and I took a closer look. Now I consider myself a new fan of her music even though I've always liked her a as a person.

I don't keep up with her comings and goings so I have no clue what she is doing as far as traveling and the such. So when I saw that Karen posted that I thought it was cool she was working on new music. I assumed she wouldn't release a cd for quite awhile with her twins being so young.

I have to say I'm quite surprised that some of the fans were so quick to judge but then again the entire climate of LMP fans is new to me. I don't know how you have felt about the entire MJ thing or any other factor that may or may not have related to her life.

I'm a longttime MJ fan but I wouldn't say I'm a die hard fan. I'm actually a bigger Janet fan than I ever was of MJ. But I do know that historically some MJ fans haven't liked Lisa because of them perceiving that she left MJ for whatever. Personally, I think that's BS but some MJ fans see him as a GOD like pefect being which he clearly was not.

Anyway, I also know Karen Faye was vocal about Lisa & MJ with the fans (which I thought was kinda wrong) and always said she didn't like LMP. That helped fuel some of the fans. But lately Karen has changed her tune and has admitted that she was 100% wrong about Lisa and that the fans should also be more open about things and not take everything at face value.

Just as a person I thought that was cool of her to do. We are all humans and she made a mistake. (Karen) I never thought it was cool of her to be saying that she didn't like Lisa for whatever reason but the fact now that she can admit her mistake and help MJ's fans to be more open minded can only be a positive thing IMO. It was this kind of thinking that was behind the words in the original post.

In no way did I mean to set any fans off or be misleading with the title. That was just the first thing that came to mind when I posted the original message.

Michael's death totally ruined my entire year, so if it's really true that there will be a new LMP album soon it will really be a nice treat!!!!

I wouldn't take anything Karen Faye says as fact. She seems to be the one pimping HER friendship with Michael.

I echo what the majority of Lisa fans in this thread are saying. I think they'd like to focus more on LMP at this point.

Why would Lisa be recording her CD in the UK? It can take months to get that right. Can't see her being away from the twins for that long myself!

I'll wait for official news about her next CD.
