I dont think Pink is necessarily a big Bush hater or anything though, like some people might presume from the song. cos in an interview she did in australia, she said that the song was more a view applying to all presidents. she also said the song was more about some questions she had, and that it would be nice if she could get some answers to some of those questions. it wasnt some hate rampage kinda thing.

Honestly, This is all happening because the Prime Minister of Japan has asked for it to happen. He is notoriously a Huge elvis fan. He rarely has had the chance to come to the US and it is HE who asked for this to happen. The President offered to take him there to fulfill his wish. That is the bottom line so it really has nothing to do with politics. The Prime Minister is a Fan and Lisa is a Fan of Japan so really on that front , it all makes sense, it should'nt have gone out of context, it is NOT making a poilitical stand by greeting them. If she was'nt there , now THAT may have been a situation. As someone said earlier , she's just taking care of buisness.representing!It's a simple as that.
