but in the chat that i was referring to, i remember lisa saying she wasnt in support of one side more than the other, but that she just didnt think certain things were being run well at the time. he views might have changed since then, but thats wot she said.

I dont think Pink is necessarily a big Bush hater or anything though, like some people might presume from the song. cos in an interview she did in australia, she said that the song was more a view applying to all presidents. she also said the song was more about some questions she had, and that it would be nice if she could get some answers to some of those questions. it wasnt some hate rampage kinda thing.

so my point is, is that it may be inappropriate to start painting lisa or pink as these big bush haters or anything. I think perhaps they are just like the majority of us who see all the problems in the world, and are concerned and sometimes angry about the way things are.

you might be right. but just from her interview, my interpretation was that she thinks he's an idiot with issues rather than hates him. but i guess i'm not one to ask haha - i'm a young aussie, and not overly familiar with the details of american politics.

Was just reading everyone's posts and thought I would put my two cents in.

First off, regardless how anyone feels about the current administration...this is a HISTORICAL visit! Two presidents are coming to Graceland at the same time! WOW!!!! How could Cilla and Lisa not want to be there? Think back on when Elvis went to D.C. and met with President Nixon. He wasn't exactly the most popular person at the time, but it made HISTORY and his photo with Nixon is the most requested photo at the Presidential Library. Let's put it into perspective shall we? Thanks for letting me sound-off on this.

Dearest Quinn.. I may not very smart but at least I'm aware the ones who are on the peak, as presidents or p.ministers,or kings and queens etc,are just the servants of the major project..their titles maybe big, but their roles are limited..now of course the guilty list can't be complete without the people who chooses them,if they come there by election ,you know it's not that way in many countries in this world..or the people who let them stay there..but Bush or any other politicians including the ones here where I live , make everything worse for all of us,and they have names,it's easy to mention them.So I don't blame him only,he can't be that important lol..now Elvis's visit with Nixon, has a reason. He had some things in his mind he had a brain which worked extremely great no matter how some people don't want to accept..and Elvis was the honest man with good intentions at that meeting but with those qualities he was alone..so this is another story..I still don't think Mr.President deserves to be at this house,where an enlightened spirit lived his prescious life but as I can see, there is not enough democracy left anywhere in the world even to talk about the way I feel..

my two cents.... it is great publicity for Elvis and EPE. If Lisa did not attend, people would be talking about her disrespecting Elvis, by not representing him. Anytime, Elvis is seen on the world stage...it just goes to show how loved and vital he is. And Lisa representing him, makes it even more better.

So politics aside, this is a good for business; and great to see Lisa again.
