I just read this on Elvis.com news. Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley will be there ro greet Japans Prime Minister, President Bush and the First Lady on their visit to Graceland! For the official word go to elvis.com.

First Lisa said she did not vote for him and wants a change and now she is going to meet him?! I'm speechless. Don't want to offend anybody here I'm just somebody who sticks to their opinion, otherwise I'd go spineless through life.

I completly agree with you. Thats what I thought when I first read this but didn't want to say because people might have thought I was talking sh*t about her which i'm not. This was the same with the American Idol thing but she still rocks and she has her reasons I guess. |

Just bc she meets somebody...doesnt mean she agrees/disagrees with their views. They went to Graceland...They were prolly talking Elvis and stuff...Ya think

I agree with both of you, it's just that I try to practice what I preach. Other people might be different. I think this could be part of the deal with the sale of EPE and duties that both Presley ladies have. A place like Graceland might need some promotion too. But still, if I had all the money and freedom in the world, I'd do whatever I want to.

I think it is mostly because she has a duty being that she does run EPE. She does own Graceland. And by the way it isn't just the President. The Prime Minister of Japan is visiting wich is the only reason the President is. Lisa loves Japan and I am sure she is looking forward to meeting it leader. I think you are making way to much out of this. Just be greatful we are getting to see more of Lisa. And no matter how you feel about Bush(I can't stand the idiot) this is a historic occassion for Graceland and EPE. JMO

I am now understanding why she would do this. Thats a good point you made that it will be a historical day for Graceland and thats probably why shes attending. Its just I didn't really think about it much at first of why she would meet him but now I see. I have just got images of Lisa punching him out lol that would be awsome. She should sing ''Idiot'' at the ceromony and dedicate it to Bush!!! |

I resemble this remark. I've never been a big Bush backer, however he is the President and I admire Lisa for being there when he comes to Graceland. This ole world is in sad shape- It goes beyond politics. Let's pray for our leaders. I don't want their job. |
