Season 7 auditions get underway with a 2-hour premiere on Tuesday, January 15th 7/8pm.
 The first city to be featured is Philidelphia, PA. The audition process continues the following night on Wed. Jan 16 in Dallas, TX. Additional cities are Miami, Charleston, Atlanta, Omaha and San Diego. Rumor has it... American Idol will be a little different than any previous seasons. The producers of the show have decided that this year, singing won’t be enough! Producers will now be prioritizing finalists (the ones that make it to the auditions on TV) based on if they know how to play an instrument or not. The choices are (among others): Acoustic Guitar Harmonica Violin Trumpet Saxophone |

And i tried out... i got to round 3 out of 4. OMG to fn funny. Philly had a lot of strange ones thats for sure. I really like Kristy-Lee the Horse trainer from Oregon and then Brook the last girl to go on after Princess Lea... I thought last nights show was off to a good start w/ Philly.. I liked the horse trainer chick too. Not sure 'bout the instruments either, Capri, just found that info on the net.. I'll be lookin' for ya!

Whew last night was interesting also. Sometimes I wonder who tells these people that they are good singers. lol The last guy doing the Song for Simon that was why to funny and like Simon said this will probably be another William hung. or the guy who had to warm up then keep walking in circles and trying to sing after they told him to leave. lol
Can't wait for San Diego will be looking for you Capri. I think it would be cool to see Lisa Marie as a judge, would be interesting if they changed judges once in awhile with professional musicians would keep it interesting.
