I totally agree with you on THAT subject but have you read the topic ahmposted titled: elvis' own lend glamour to foxs finalists' show? In it Priscilla talks about what they are doing and why.

I don't understand why it would be out of the question or bad that they filmed a small segmant of A I the number one show in America at Graceland!
I personally don't watch it but i see nothing wrong with the idea. These kids are getting an experience and the chance of a life time to be something/ someone they otherwise might not have been. They come from small towns and from what i hear this particular season they are incredibaly talented. Sound like someone you know?
this is the new generation like it or not and a different time. Back then it was talent shows , now we have American Idol. Its the same basic idea. plus Graceland is a buisness , drawing attention to it to millions of people is'nt stupid at all.

you know I am continually surprised and saddened at how fair weather people can be. I mean what exactly do you want? what do any of you want? it's so ****ing easy for people to sit around all day and live thru their computers and these message boards and sit back waiting for people to entertain them, to do something for them. Those of you who have issues with Graceland, EPE, or anything elvis related should go post on an Elvis board. This board is for positive discussion about Lisa Marie Presley. I mean Positive. Are you really going to complain that over 45 million people who watch American Idol every week can now hear Elvis' music on primetime TV? If you have a problem with the show American Idol, then it's really simple - dont ****ing watch it! Do you think Elvis would really have a problem with people up and coming trying to make it, doing it in any way they could? are you saying the people on that show can't sing? I mean who do you think you are to sit around and constantly day by day judge what everyone does and what they don't do. I mean I am really irrate at the insanity. Who died and made you the ultimate judge of what Elvis wanted or would want. If you think his family doesn't know, and that you know better than they do, wow you are off your ****ing rocker. can you find something productive to do with your OWN life and do it? or maybe it's more fun to just sit around all day being critical of others?

first of all your using the word ****ing don't move me,want you to know that.. and I know where to complain and I do that too,don't worry..and if you think this is all about Lisa,you're wrong again if I'm not mistaken,that idol **** is not her thing,and that show is not only in America, it's spreading like a disease all over the world,but motivating people is easy nowdays, there are people tell millions(more than 45 millions) what to listen,how to dress what to eat and believe me they're more dangerous than me or my criticism and these are the same people who don't understand what Lisa's trying to do with her music,and can't enjoy the real music and artistry.Take a look at the big picture and don't worry about the way I spend my days, cause you'll never know ,you'll never know..

We have Idols on tv here too and we had a Rock and Roll -Idols show. They interviewed the young "idols"about Rock and Roll and Elvis was mentioned several times in a possitive way, and one of them did sing an Elvis-song too.
It didn't make me feel sad, just proud.

Zey, I do agree a bit with you about the concept of the program. I don't like that either and it's so manipulated. But I know how to pick my own idol, I don't need a program for that. I think there still is some good music and maybe some of the people on the Idol-programs are good artists. they do work hard and people like them.

I say get over it lighthouseseeker. You say Lisa doesn't like the AI show yet she is PARTICIPATING in it. It isn't as if someone put a gun to her head.

I too have heard Lisa diss the American Idol show...In my opinion...It was about how the judges pick on the contestants to make them feel stupid or belittled. But what do I know?

I feel that in many ways American Idol is the 2006 version of Sun Records... the entertainment business is always going to be about $$$$$$$ if you think otherwise your just kiddin yourself.

ps Lisa is not only participating in American Idol... BUT I think you all also forget that she IS a major stockholder in the American Idol franchise as well.

I remember when i was a kid...I used to watch community auditions omg...Showing my age...I loved that show...Always dreamed I would be on it. AI isnt my thing...But I do think there is talent out there that could use a break...Its hard to get into the industry! But then again...Its american pop culture voting for these peeps..Funny

Look I agree that Lighthouseseeker has every right to their opinion but this is Lisa Marie Presley's Forum. This is a place for her fans to express there love and excitement about LMP. If ya want to complain over and over go somewhere else cause we don't want to hear it. Can we PLEASE get over this subject already?
