LOS ANGELES - Four paparazzi have been arrested for reckless driving while chasing Britney Spears' car in the San Fernando Valley.



Los Angeles police Lt. Mario Munoz said officers observed several cars following a white Mercedes-Benz around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mission Hills.

The cars were following Spears' car too closely and traveling at unsafe speed. They also made several unsafe lane changes, authorities said.

Munoz said officers stopped the Mercedes, interviewed Spears and released the 26-year-old pop star after verifying her driver's license.

But the four photographers in the cars chasing her were booked for investigation of reckless driving.

I just read this and I think IT IS ABOUT TIME. These *******s stalk and chase people ALL The time and get into no trouble. It's "legal stalking". I read it all the time where paps would chase down a certain person just for ONE yes ONE freaking picture, driving too close to them and endangering them. Then the celebrity drives off just as "reckless" JUST to get away from them, and they get stopped and legal action is taken against them, but the paps are let go. I am very happy to read Spears was let go after showing a valid license and the four paps were arrested. The tables are turned now and it's definitely time to turn them. I hope this continues. They aren't special these ****s. They should get reckless driving if in fact they were doing such. The last time they chased Britney she ran a red light just to get away from them, and she got pulled over and a ticket. The paps that chased her got away. I thougt how ****** that was. So yes I am happy to see a cop actually arresting these crazy folk. They think Brit is crazy? sure she might be crazy, but you're even crazier for harrasing her in such a dangerous and creepy manner.

Brit is having a hard time of it and everyone should say a prayer for her. I am not a big fan of her music but that doesn't mean I like seeing her basically tortured, tortured by the media and others who exploit her. Unfortunately someone in her position is surrounded by those that make their living through her so I am not sure they would stand up to Brit for fear they would be jobless??? Her family seems extremely distant, especially in location and I worry about that the pappo with her now will exploit her, but maybe he has a really good heart and can see first hand she needs someone to hold on to and believe in to get better. Yep can you tell Britney has me worried and I think about her alot, wishing her well and praying for her to get better.
