This seems highly wrong to me. Kevin Federline is the one that wanted to bring her to court to take away her joint custody rights, and now she HAS to pay his lawyer. Even in a divorce he's milking her for all she's got. K-fed get a ****ing job lazy bum. Why is it a judge is making her PAY just because she makes more money. oh and I also heard that Britney was helping to pay for her former Stepchildren's child support. So in a sense she is "supporting" 4 children, yet doesn't have custody of hers. I had a feeling K-fed's custody woes and battling was for money and somehow this seems to sort of prove it.


LOS ANGELES - Britney Spears has been ordered to pay $120,000 in legal fees to her ex-husband Kevin Federline, who was awarded temporary custody of their young sons.

Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon ordered the pop star to pony up that much of the $154,500 in legal fees that Federline owes to his attorney, according to court papers filed Tuesday.

Gordon made the decision after considering factors including "the notable disparity between the parties' income," the ruling said.

A call to Spears' attorney was not immediately returned.

Court papers released last week show that Spears makes roughly $737,000 per month and spends lavishly on clothes and entertainment. Meanwhile, Federline "indicates that he does not earn any income," the ruling said.

Federline, father of 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James, receives $15,000 per month in child support and $20,000 in spousal support from Spears.

The spousal support is to end Nov. 15.

I don't feel bad for Britney and the reason is because everyone warn Britney that Kevin Federline was no good but she wanted a bad boy and now she is paying the price .

OH WELL ... That is Brit's fault and the fault of her "advisors" and "legal" team for not making the skid sign a HARD CORE pre-nup in the first place. ALL of these details would have been worked out in advance if she had half a brain ..

this I totally agree with, but at the same time I feel sorry for her and really hope a 20 ton brick falls on her head and snaps her back to reality because nothing should be more important than her children that she chose to bring into this world, the children had no choice in the matter

I never said I felt bad Mo Jo for her. I understand she has to pay some money according to the pre-nup. I just think it's ridiculous she has to pay his lawyer bills. He's the one that wanted to take her *** to court. He should have figured out how his no income *** would have paid for it. You don't take someone to court and expect them to pay your legal bills. That is stupid. She didn't want to go to court. He did. She's paying her own legal fees. So he should have too as well. Get his family to help out. Or something. oh and she didn't make that much sitting on her ***. That was through the course of her career. She made that much by doing music. What has Kevin ever done? Oh right he once was back up dancer. But he soon quit that as soon as he got a millionaire wife. He needs to get a job. I mean since his record flopped he needs to find some income besides milking his ex wife. I feel for the kids and her kids should be a priority, but I am not talking the kid issue right now lol. IF you take someone to court with no real job or no income and then expect them to pay your lawyer because they have more money for whatever reason, well that seems wrong to me. no matter who you are. Think about the money issue before you go to court. get a job, get your parents to help. don't think about it after the fact.

but I'm sorry Brit can't be too bright not to have all of these matters resolved before the fact via her legal team. There should have been some clause in this "pre-nup" that stated she was not liable for any monies above and beyond what they had agreed to, including any legal action resulting from a divorce, custody etc.. etc.. With her $$ you would think that she would have had killer lawyers.

Are pre-nups romantic? NO but they are necessary with her money - if she was that worried about protecting it from him she would have done something about it - in advance. He was only a dancer AND a dead beat dad to his other kids - she knew that and married him anyway .. OH WELL!

She has been sitting on her a ss for quite some time and I was just pointing out the monthly residuals she receives when she has not toured or put out anything new in years.

no they are definitely not great parents.I just think he milking her for more money without having a real job is really sick.It's like you're not Mr.Spears anymore and your millionaire pop star wife is now your ex wife. Which means her money is no longer "yours" either. He wants her to get clean and shape up. Well the man can't afford to support his kids. He needs to shape up too. Maybe if Britney got back into her career and focused less on finding "love" and her next marriage or boyfriend she might could get cleaned up. She was fairly normal when she was just dancing/singing/lipping and not marrying scumbags. Yes she might be an idiot for marrying him but as they say love is indeed blind. He was a gold digger from the start. Her friends tried to warn her about him but she wouldn't listen. I do know of many that are so in love or infatuated they don't want to hear it. It's a shame Britney didn't want to hear it. Now look where she's at. She had a nervous breakdown at 25, lost her kids and had a very medicore comeback despite her album was number one on Itunes. Her album has since been pushed off the top spot on Itunes by Angels and Airwaves. The girl should've had a normal life actually. I think she once said she doesn't remember a time without paparazzi or fans. That is sad somewhat. she was what 16 when she came out. Clearly those many years of celebrity since teenagedhood wasn't too great for her. K-fed still needs a job and to pay his own **** laywer. He is a big boy. He took her to court and she shouldn't have to pay that, but I guess legally she does. A judge forcing her to seems absurd.
