Steines still remembers an interview with Lisa Marie Presley a few years back when she had just launched her music career and was also going through a rough patch after the failure of her two high-profile marriages to Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage.
"When I went into the interview, I knew we were going to address some of that stuff and I wanted to find out what she had learned about herself, what was something she had taken from the failed marriages which had made her a better person today," he said. "And it really kind of elevated the conversation and she even told me directly that she liked the questions because they focused on the positive stuff. "And that's what we try to do here at Entertainment Tonight — to maintain a high level of quality and credibility.
