And success obviously isn't that unimportant to her and/or you neither...why else would there be a Street Team or why would we be upset about Capitol being so unsupportive or why would you want her to receive a Grammy? Wink

First of all by not selling out that means she IS and DOES remain true to herslef and her music. Therefore she will never sell out.


About The third album this is what was said in the article.

Now, she's a more confident performer and hopes to hone her music even more on the current tour before taking time to write songs for her third disc next year.

I'd sure like to know what Lisa has agianst pop music. I LIKE pop music and HER ALBUM happens to be listed as "General Pop" on my sonicstage program under the "genre".

I don't think Lisa has anything peronally against "Pop" music. I think she just wants to be clear that isn't what she is or is trying to be.

I know she does.
I just don't get why ppl would think she never should sell out...?!
It's not as if artists who do sell out were necessarily fake and it's not that Lisa's music would change by playing in front of a larger audience.

Well the way she said it made is sound like going pop was a bad thing.

Being popular isn't innately bad.
