There's gonna be a story tonight on ABC's Primetime about "an investigation into paying to play songs on the radio". Sounds interesting...maybe Capitol ought to cough up some bucks! Wonder if they still call it "payola"...

Hey Lights The story was very telling, sad, it has nothing to do with talent, just whether or not someone will pay the bucks to get your song played. So much for all our requesting etc. We just needed $800,000 and we could have gotten "Idiot" played! Sigh...

Hey betsyb3! I still think you deserve a reward for all of the work you do on VH1 Top 20 Countdown votes and I assume on Hotget.com, etc.
I would hope most entertainers are prouder to have loyal fans who love their work than fame bought by music industry payola.

Even if we couldn't get her on the countdown it still gets her name out there Might have gotten some people to check out her awesome music! If I had more time I would be on more boards.
