BRITNEY SPEARS' son JAYDEN JAMES was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles hospital alongside his mother after a major stand off with police. The troubled singer was taken from her Beverly Hills mansion in an ambulance on Thursday (03Jan07) evening after she refused to hand over her two sons to her former husband Kevin Federline. She is currently being held for a psychiatric evaluation. However, it has been reported that her one-year-old son Jayden James was also taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center following the ordeal - transported in a separate ambulance to his mother. It is not yet known what the tot is being treated for. Kevin Federline is said to have followed the two ambulances to the facility arriving at 12:20am, while a car carrying the couple's other son, two-year-old Sean Preston, arrived at Federline's house a short while later. Emergency services including police helicopters, fire crews and medical teams were called to the star's home after she refused to let her two sons go back to the care of their father after a scheduled visit. Cops are reported to have found Spears "under the influence of an unknown substance" after the incident, which is being referred to as a "family custody dispute" by the Los Angeles police department. Details of who made the original emergency call have yet to be released.

This is just sad. She seriously needs to be locked up. I hope she didn't harm her son.

Very very sad, I personally am not jumping to conclusions that it is drug/alcohol related her seeming "intoxicated" state. She seriously could be having a psychotic break. Unfortunately she needs help but it is extremely extremely hard for ANYONE to control or manage what a legal, "functioning", adult does. They do not have a leg to stand on and if a person refuses, rejects what good someone is trying to tell them or do for them...what do you say to a person who makes their own money, has a payroll and staff to support and does it and says I am an adult?...well.....then it has to come to something like this where she is actually putting her children or another human being in harms way/danger. The only legal choice a family member has is to Baker Act someone for evaluation for alcohol, drug or mental illness problem Only when they become a threat to themselves or someone else. It is easy to look at her and say get a grip, you are famous, you are wealthy beyond the grasp of middle America standards...what is her problem? Unfortunately Britney needs to see the light and realize there is a problem and then needs lots of healthy supportive love and understanding to get to a place she needs to be. I can only pray for her, wish her well and just as America was heard with Paris Hilton, they were sick of hearing about her, EVERYONE should make it loud and clear that we dont' want to hear about Britney's everymove.....remember "we" are the one's that make them rich and famous. If it is not for our giving them the light and energy......they would not shine.

I send healing energy and white light to Britney, she really needs it.

The situation is a terrible one and he is a SKID - BUT she is an ADULT and responsible for her actions, choices and their associated consequences. There are MANY other people who are going through similar situations who don't have $$$$$$$$$ and access to EVERY possible resource. They are all at her disposal because she has money. Don't tell me HE is preventing her from doing the right thing and getting the help she obviously needs.

I have to agree with everything you just said Mojo. I would say this is rock bottom for Britney but then again is it? Next week could be somthing worse unless she wises up and grows up & takes control of her life for her & her kids sake.

Well said friend and I couldn't agree more. Nobody is responsible for her life and situation other then her.

Your right MOJO in that we have to be responsible for our own actions, but...that is if she was stable in mind and even then with the horrible mental abuse this guy put her thru , I don't think anyone would have come out sane. My sister ended up in a therapists office from all the sheit that her ex would do to her. Imagine Britney, at home all the time, taking care of the kids, and then she gets wind of what this fool is doing. Wasting her money on clothes woman and boozing, partying, all the time, while she waits at home. You may have noticed that after the rags posted all that he was up to, that's when she to flipped, going out with Paris, etc. I still feel he should have to pay for the mental abuse. Do I hear a YEP from woman with exes??? lol

I see where you are coming from LJ and it does makes sense. One thing though is she could have kicked his sorry butt to the curb the second he started pulling all of what you just stated. Instead SHE chose to have him stick around and continue all his bs. She went ahead and decided to have two children with a man that she knew was that way. So yes we can blame him for pulling the **** but we have to blame her for being willing to put up with it for as long as she did. JMO.

Jimmy Cricket and biscuits.....now you see why it is so hard to intervene or help an adult? now a DR is saying she is an adult and has that right to decide. That is probably out of one side of his mouth, and the other he is saying she needs help and I BET he wouldn't turn down Britney as a paying patient either huh? but he will add to the britney chaos and talk to reporters.

Keep praying for Brit cause she needs some professional help and I hope it comes to her soon.
