I was applying my "review" of LMP's cd's @ http://www.amazon.ca , and came across these two books, which appear to be not worth the paper they are written on:

they are quite expensive and no longer available (only 4 sale by a "seller" not amazon)

the author of the joke "wedding diary" has no other books to her credit that I can see (no wonder) and neither does the crack star who wrote the other book 9her co-author/contributor is the national rag-mag enquirer).

how can people get away with publishing this s h i t w/o getting sued or something.

I cannot believe how many joke books can be published and how many good authors / legitimate journalists works are left in a publisher/editors recycle bin....????

I have both of these books. The first one isn't really that bad. It's nothing that we didn't know already. Her Story is pretty much a joke. It's a dumb look (kind of like a diary) at what Lisa would supposeably say in a diary. I got this years ago and it's a waste of money. It's not worth the ink it was typed on.

I am usually skeptical of ANY "Tell All" book of someone else's opinion - If the 1st one was an authorized story by LMP then it would be different - or even written by one of her friends, band members etc.... but considering the fact that it was compiled by the Rag Mag who slams her every other day and some one hit wonder author I would not buy it.

The diary is such a joke!

I just don't know how poeple get published with this kind of material

Because LMP is such a prolific lyricist perhaps she will write an auto-bio or at least allow someone to write an authorized version of her "story".....

Once my own book is near completion I will pitch Lisa on the idea (still waiting on a returned e-mail on another "idea" .... c'mon Lisa...)

I also have that book Sex Drugs & Rock N Roll The Lisa Marie Presley Story & I agree with Stacy that, that book doesn't have anything that we don't already know.

As for the other book I've never seen that book before.

I have the "Sex, Drugs & Rock and Roll" one, I love the picture of her on the cover... but.... I can't beleive these books are so expensive! I bought mine on half.com for like a buck(i think) It's certainly not worth over 140 bucks! Sheshhhh!!

I want to write it!!!! well the authorized one!!! She should let a fan write it haha by using the words they see and hear in interviews. Actually the whole forum should compile not really a her story book, but just a sort of book about Lisa and maybe their experiences meeting her.

I have the first one too, ordered it through the American Bookstore in Amsterdam, think I payed like EUR 15 for it.
