Today I`ve read the content of Elvis`s letter to pres.Nixon. But seing the way it was written made me laugh-on American Airlines paper block, quite messy. It makes me think that Elvis was kidding with president and public. You gotta see that letter `cause it just looks too crazy. Elvis, we love you. What a rebel! But I don`t actually think he had false anti-drug beliefs, and I don`t like the way journalists portrait his attentions(he wasn`t hipocrital at all). Anyway, just look for the photos of the letter-they`re very interesting! The content was earlier revealed to public, but lately some media begun to show the letter itself.

It was made public a long time ago, was it not? I read it before, or atleast I thought that was it.

Don't think he was kidding..he honestly had concerns and was willing to help in his way..yet no politician had his honesty and good intentions..Elvis wasn't a square or narrow minded person,as many people still are..he had faith in enlightment for himself and others as well,but his ways wasn't bitter or loud as some others' who also tried to change things..Elvis was a man who could march into hell for a heavenly cause, as in the song..God bless his beautiful spirit and brave heart..

I agree, LHS. Elvis was serious in his anti-drug beliefs. In those days, people didn't see the harm in prescription meds, but the harmful effects of street drugs were known and Elvis was passionate about trying to protect people from drugs. Almost as if he knew, deep down, the drugs he was taking was hurting him too.
