A LULLABY OF LOVE


To the girls of any age, cast out your rage
The man of your dreams will soon give you the means
You’ll know it is right, when the power takes hold
You’ll know it is right ‘cause he wasn’t too bold
You’ll know him to be the one, if you know what must be done
Through the eyes of love, the secret is retold
Through the eyes of love, the secret will unfold
When he comes into your life, you’ll hope and you’ll pray
That his love is for real, that he will always stay
You’ll know from the beginning that it was meant to be
He’ll open your eyes, he’ll let you see
And if you follow your feelings and don’t hesitate
You’ll know it is strong, you’ll know you can’t wait
So if he comes and enters your life
Take all the love you can and he’ll make you his wife
He’ll be loving and caring, and above all true
You’ll know you love him, because you know he loves you
And when you kiss and you are locked in a love
Remember that love has come from above

This is a calling to the women who dream
The pain in your heart may cause you to scream
But fear not in your mind, for your soul will pull you through
The love in your heart will reach him too.
And when you meet, you’ll know it was him
Who gave your life meaning, who made your head spin

Fear not lonely children and girls of all ages
Trust in your feelings and listen to the sages
The sages of past and present alike
The sages of truth, wisdom and might
The sages of children, the sages of light
The songs they sing the words they say
Let the words fill your senses and the music float you away

To the women of the world, let love be your guide
It will lead you to your friend, your lover and your side
The beauty in your eyes has been passed through the ages
The wisdom of his light has been passed through the sages
Follow your feelings, you know what I mean
Follow your wishes, your hopes and your dreams
At the end of the light lie blue skies above
At the end of the light, you’ll find his love
So look in his eyes and look for your soul
Find your life in his and you’ll find your role
Look to the future with love and with joy
Look through the eyes of a girl and a boy

Through the eyes of a child lies the hearts of all men
Through the innocence of a child lies the eggs from a hen
You see, children are the reason, children are the key
Children have the treasures, children let us see
That in the middle of the light lies blue skies and love
That in the middle of the light lies heaven above.

So I write to the women of all cultures and lands
I write to the women who talk with their hands
I write to the women who talk with their eyes
I write to the women who tell others no lies
I write to the women and the girls of the world
I write for your love and his love to unfurl
The secret of youth lies in the eyes of truth
So keep to your dreams and remain young at heart
The light in your heart will give you your start
When the right man comes along, he will sing his heart’s song
And like the bird in the air, you’ll know him to care
Because the magic of love has come from above
So when he enters your heart and you become as one
Keep to your faith, because in faith you have won
And your days will be bright and filled with joys
Because now you’re in the rapture of girls and boys
And love will bring you treasures, like love brought you toys

Girls of all ages, this is a calling to your heart
Remember your dreams, your youth, and your start
Take hold of your lover and look in his eyes
His feelings inside will tell you no lies

Girls of all ages, colors and creeds
Look not at the tree but look to the seeds
If the seeds were planted to bring forth fruit that is good
Then look forward to a life of joy and motherhood
But if the seeds were planted to bring forth fruit that is bad
Then look forward to a life that is lonely and sad
Look in their eyes and if you see the light that is dim
Remember, to get to the fruit of the tree, you have to go out on a limb
So if you climb that tree and find his fruit to be good
Love him like your own, for you know he would
Love each other dearly and hold each other near
Cast out your sorrow, your loneliness and your fear
And look ahead to the times you’ll treasure
Look ahead to the times and back on the pleasures
Never forget your youth when you were innocent and free
Look ahead to the times together and how happy you will be
Yes, this is an ode to the girls who show men who they are
They show us their love, no matter how near or how far


Girls, this is your story, this is your tale
The love in your hearts will lead us all to sail
Across the oceans, above the sky
Your love is shining, it makes us high
Keep to your faith and see as a child
Look to the heavens for fruit that is wild
Take hold of your love and tame his heart
Give his life meaning, give his life art
And when he knows the two of you are right
Your life and your love will be an endless delight

So girls of all ages, listen if you may
The secret lies within, it’s always there to stay
It gives you the road, it gives you the way

Now I’ll end this poem hoping you will see
That love is the answer, that love is the key
Remember dear girls that love is inside
Take this on faith because faith will abide
I write from my heart and my heart beats for you
The women of the world, the girls who feel blue

Speak not from your mouth but from your heart and soul
Speak not of heartaches but look to your goal
Your goal will lead you to the man of your dreams
Your dreams will give you the ways and the means
So stay as a child, be open and free
Fear not the world, but look to the sea
So stay as a child, be soulful and high
Fear not the universe, but look to the sky
For the sky holds the answers and the reasons why?

I’ll end now this poem with another of my own
So keep it in mind while you are passing through time….
