I just saw this. Don't know if it has been posted before, BUT I thought of a few of you instantly when I saw this! You have to enter this you are amazing artists.
Elvis Presley Enterprises is looking for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist. During 2007, for the first time ever, Elvis Presley Enterprises will hold the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. The contest is a search for the Elvis Tribute Artist that is the "best representation of the legacy of Elvis Presley." The winner of the contest will receive the title of "The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist," along with official recognition by Elvis Presley Enterprises, a cash prize of $5,000 and more. Preliminary rounds for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest will take place in different locations throughout the world prior to August 2007. Locations and details regarding the preliminary rounds of the competition will be announced on this site as they are confirmed. The winner of each preliminary round will travel to Memphis to compete in the qualifying rounds that will take place during Elvis Week 2007. The top winners in each of the qualifying rounds will go on to compete in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Finals on August 17 at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Memphis, where the "Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist" will be selected. If you are an Elvis tribute artist and are interested in competing for your chance at the title of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, the preliminary rounds listed below will be one of your only opportunities to reach the Memphis qualifying rounds. they only ridicule his way of performing(the one no one is able to repeat)..I find them disgusting.. and how on earth EPE dares to do such harm to his memory..somebody should stop this..kids and young generation could get a very wrong idea of Elvis because of those sick people called impersonators..this is dangerous and damaging..He left us enough stuff to listen to and watch..and there's even more I see to come, if those gentlemen would interested to promote the man himself than planning to add official impersonators to our ever rotten world of show business..

I did see some impersonators, and talk to them. Most of them just wanna show how much they love Elvis. Just as we do, drawing or painting him. Don't take them down. I know some of them aren't really good at all, but that doesn't matter. Thanks Indre and LHS. I really was thinking you guys could win and be able to come here and go to Graceland, and for free. I know they have some sort of art on display and they always have ribbons. You should do that. That's what I thought this was.
