I see all this potential..and I see squandering..d@mn it, an entire generation working gas stations,waiting tables..mindless pursuits,and slaves with white collars.Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes,working jobs We hate so We can buy sh*t We dont need.We're the middle children of history,no purpose or place.We have no great war,no great depression.Our great wars a spiritual war..Our great depression is our lives.We've all been raised on Tv to believe that one day We'd all be millonaires,and movie Gods and Rock Stars..but most won't and there slowly learning that fact and there Very,Very pissed off...

Hi Syddy! Hey Simi. We've never "met", but ty for posting this. U got me inspired to watch it again.
Chuck Palahniuk's novel Fight Club had part of the monologue but the movie's screenwriter Jim Uhls reworked it a bit.
