Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!
I am SO tired of watering down MY world to placate YOUR palate. I am equally tired of dimming my light so as not to blind your weak little eyes. Tired, also, of thinning out my vibrance so that you're not overwhelmed. I am SICK of not speaking my mind because YOUR ears are too tender to hear my truth. It is exhausting trying to break my brilliance down into the pablum your thought process requires. All that I hold inside, spinning and spinning until it's acceptable for you, weakens me and makes me weary. So tired of not showing you pictures of people whose relationships YOU find detestable. So tired of not swearing in your presence because YOU can't take it. So tired of not having black fingernails and blue hair and torn clothes because it's an affront to YOUR nature. So tired of turning my music down and dialing my s.exuality back. So tired of hiding the books YOU wouldn't approve of. So tired of keeping my religious and political ideals to myself. So tired of not splashing my pretty peace onto your wicked war.
