JUST A LITTLE HUG



Just a little poem with feelings from the heart
With words to fill the senses that lead us all to start
It starts at birth with eyes of blue
It’s the tender sweet caress that makes us all feel new
Just a little hug for the newborn girl or boy
From a husband to a wife for their new found bundle of joy

It’s the touch that makes us feel
It’s the love that makes it real
And when we’re feeling down, with sadness all around…
It’s the hug and the kiss that makes it all feel right
From a lover or a friend, the feelings never end
When we give a little hug, it shows us that we care
It’s a feeling from the heart, a feeling we seem to share

So if you’re feeling blue and you need to start a new
Give a little hug to someone that you love
And you might be surprised to find
That it will give you peace of mind
For just a little hug will bring you love
To pass on to our children, our family and a friend
And the feelings that you feel will never have an end!

To spread my words so others can read
But Viper...you always take the lead
All I know is that you are 21 and from Virginia
A state that is for lovers
I know you like to read my poetry and I appreciate your feedback....but won't you tell me more...Are you married? Do you like Lisa Marie?...How about Madonna and Britney? Tell me more about yourself...what to you do? Are you a student? To search inside makes it hard to see
That what lies inside is the best of me
To know a woman...one that is true
Makes what lies inside the best of you
So if you are one who believes in love
You too must believe in this feeling that comes from above
But to truly find what is good in man
A woman must not be afraid to take a stand
To speak her mind and travel through time
Until she comes across that lost part of her soul
That she finds in the man who would give her a role
A role in life that she was born to play
May true love and happiness continue to come your way

I've got the love deep in my soul

This lonely place that exists in me
When I dream of love I give you my all
But it leaves me lonely, tired and small
When the right woman comes along she will sing her hearts song
And it is then I will be complete
For she will want to know all of me
And all of me is what I will give to thee
My true love...my flower and my honey bee

Like a tiger fierce and mean
The human touch is seldom seen
When we graze the earth to find our prey
Sometimes we find the light of day
But as we grow, we find the need to protect our young
With a mother's love....these words are sung
Gentle to the ear yet wild and free
The tiger roams the plain for all to see
So as we struggle in a world that may cause us trouble...
Let us be like the tiger..showing others our beauty but letting others know
That we will protect those we love as our fangs continue to grow

A DIARY OF A PRINCESS


Let us look back and continue to remember a Princess….
She began as a Lady with a love for the children of her land
She became a Princess and soon became the envy of every woman and man
But deep down inside she longed to be loved
By the man who would be king
-Charles was his name-
Lady Diana Spencer married into the royal family
For this she gained her fame

But soon the fairy tale became a horror show
Her people thought she was happy….but they did not yet know
Of her marital problems that led her to become physically ill
But still she became a stout figure to the world spreading her love and good will

Her mental health suffered as her marriage became an affair for three
Diana could no longer bear the infidelity
So she secretly set forth to write her true story for the world to read
For she longed to become the Queen of Hearts….if a Princess she could no longer be

The world finally knew of the heartache she was going through
She needed to break free of the chains she found around her feet
-To help the average man on the street-
For Princess Diana always showed her love to her children as well as to others in the world
-And the people loved her back-
For compassion and love were always two virtues that Diana did not lack

But when it seemed that Diana had finally found a true love to start again
Her life was tragically taken in a car crash…as her fairytale came to an untimely end
Her death brought the world to tears as we all reflected back on her living years

She will remain the Queen of Hearts as she said she would want to be
Because this Lady who became a Princess can still have an affect on you and me
By just the mere mention of her name
Our world will never be the same
For the teardrops that we shed in her memory…
Will forever keep her candle in the wind a flame that burns brightly in our hearts.

The road between grows longer each day
That you and I are apart...I have to say
Only when two hearts beat as one
Is the love between them complete and undone

A dream is but a life lost within the mind
To carry thru time
If she speaks to me... let it be through her soul
She can search in me to find her next role
But if she chooses a dream that dies thru time
There will be no need to capture a rose
And then let it go
For she will have found the beauty of the flower and the hurt of the thorn
And there is no greater an enemy then a woman once scorned
So I hope she finds a true love and makes it last
Because the beginning of her future might lead us to the future in our past....
