Here is a sketch of mine ~ I know what I had in mind when I sketched it, but I am curious what YOU think it means...(I am painting this for my friend for her birthday)
My artist b/f said: "very intense! I like the brain and heart on the plates, serving the subjects intelligence and heart of emotion. The subject is blindfolded, she is not able to see or does not want to look at the under-meaning character that attempting to take advantage of her, but the eyes on the wings dictate pure vision and foresite on the preditor that is trying to munipulate and take control. It also reminds me of one woman's law of blind justice and strength in this world." >>>I have also attached stage 1 of the painting process>>>>>> I'M SO INTERESTED IN KNOWING WHAT YOU THINK!!!   **It is FAR from done but I wanted some feedback as I paint it**I'll post the finished product****  "I paint my own reality. You are right ~ It kind of reminded me of Lady Justice also - the explanation of the 8 of swords (from the link you provided) had many elements that this image represents === Do you read Tarot Cards?? I'm no artist or anything at all.... but when I first looked at it, i thought of a woman who feels enslaved by her captor...

Thanks Everyone for the insight(s) ~ I really appreciate the feedback ~ ART is such a subjective experience for the viewer - opinions and perceptions based on your own experiences and ideas!! I will post the painting once it is completed!

That's a cool thought, to paint something for your friend. It looks good, great job. But I think the strength of it is, it makes everyone think something else about what it means.
