My melancholy muse
put on some Dishwalla and then some big black shoes
turned salty me into some rather meaty graffiti
it took me a magic marker and seven homemade Elvis tattoos
to eradicate this one huge Doc Marten bruise

She spins lit matches into barbed wire
surrounds herself with a finely knit fence of fire
she is the definition of attrition
dining on the deed to my desire

But she's the smartest girl wherever she goes
coz wherever she goes
nobody ever knows what she knows
in my dark she desperate glows
red handed and left haired
horn rimmed and spider scared
when someone's loved like this it shows

Sounds a bit jazzyish.(is that a word? It is now.) I like it.
