ESCAPE TO ANOTHER WORLD
I now write from me to you To the many who read because they are sad and feel blue With Lisa's songs we can escape to another world Deep inside the feelings reside She makes us dance and feel free to love For some she makes us question the stars above To look up in the sky and question why? Is there a deeper love you are thinking of? I come across a fellowship of different cultures but living together in one land Be they from the East or West, from the North or deep in the South... They all speak one language that comes from their mouth For in America, the home of the brave and also the free The spirit of America remains alive within you and me Now as I begin my journey home to a place where my family has been I also return home to a world that can be cruel and have sin But we must all be able to escape to another world if just for one day To experience the variety of people that may come our way This world is large and within it we must all come to see That there are both good and bad in the faces But that those faces are meant to be free So escape with me to another world where we all can be We must remain free Because I will remain a part of you as you will remain a part of me Daniel |
