A SEASON OF THANKS:
FOR GIVING A LITTLE THAT MEANS SO MUCH


A feeling of coming together often happens this time each year
It begins with a Thanksgiving Day meal and ends with holiday cheer
For it is from the goodness of man that we created this season of thanks that we continue to make….
As we reflect back on the year that was with family and friends…we smile with delight as we tell each other stories...and then we bring on the turkey, the stuffing, and the cake!
It is from this feeling of family, of caring enough to give…. that leads us into December where this season of thanks is once again relived.


They say that the smallest gift can sometimes bring the greatest joy
Be it a gift from a man to a woman to express both thanks and love…or from that special little toy, wrapped deep inside Santa’s sack of presents for all his little girls and boys
No, not just from their newly opened gifts do our children find delight
You see, it’s the smiles on our faces that brings sunshine from hidden places
With families gathering together, the season seems just right…. . For the lights that we shine to celebrate this time often radiate our towns and cities from dusk until dawn…our holiday spirit continues to live on

And now, once again, it is the holiday season that we come to embrace.
A season where we can eat and drink together, to celebrate where we are… and talk of things that might have changed
We can look back at the year that was and see how our time has been rearranged
Yet, still we can look back each year, to celebrate and cheer, and hope that next year’s happy memories will feel the same

Let’s make this holiday season a season of thanks to give
For every time we give a little, we seem to get so much more in return.
