I am just playing around here, trying to get this writers block unlocked. For some reason I am fixted (darn spelling!) on the story of Dorian Gray. What I wrote without thinking is not a poem, but I guess my concept of what he might have thought in that dark soul of his. It's a silly piece here, but I am posting it anyways! LOL
"Pulled from the head of one Dorian Gray" Darcy L. Quinlan "Hell is a portrait on canvas" Dorian thought as he gazed at the latest reality to his oiled likeness. Or so it used to be. For sixty years almost too that ****ed perfectly brilliant and clear blue sky day of its birth. All his horrible deeds reflected only upon the dark creation. Dorian the man still glowed that of a man in his prim and had outlasted all those that he had so long ago loved..and lost. Fingering a textured deep set grimace upon his painted mouth, he once again was reminded.. "Hell is a portrait on canvas" "Love me now or set me free- I am trainwreck tangled simple me. " ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "You may not see me, yet you feel me. Your mind struggles to comprehend but is thwarted by ages of lies, who am I? I am you, I am your soul and I am simply me..Darcy" |
